Retarder

Retarder

It is a solvent mixture prepared to prevent the problems caused by the hot environment in cellulosic, polyurethane and acrylic systems.

Retarder is used by adding 2-5% by weight to cellulosic, polyurethane and acrylic based furniture paints in order to prevent or eliminate paint defects (orangeness, boiling, etc.) that may occur in hot regions with high temperatures or in summer months. Avoid using it at very high rates, as it may slow down drying.
